For over a decade, Kifaru Coffee Estate organised a volunteering project to support the education in our neighbourhood.

About the progamme

Since 2007, the coffee farm Kifaru Coffee Estate has supported its neighbouring school, Mlimani Sumawe Secondary, by recruiting volunteer teachers. With the aim to raise the standard of education, exchange cultural ideas, and solidify the use of the English language. As the school and the context has changed over the years, Kifaru is currently looking at new ways to help Mlimani move forward. The volunteer programme will be replaced by a new Educational Partnership.
